marine grade plywood
Some plywood is marine grade plywood, which density is higher than regular plywood, with thinner veneers and virtually no gaps for moisture to get in. The layers are then bonded together with waterproof glue and are interchangeable, resulting in a new highly integrated, multi-layer bonded material. There is also marine-grade plywood, which, although its structure makes the wood moisture-resistant, is not treated and must be sealed with a marine-grade sealant or waterproof fiberglass to avoid direct contact with moisture.
